Bryan Dorman
Alice became a Making Waves Foundation Board member in late 2021 after joining as a volunteer 3 years earlier.
She has over 10 years’ experience working in the disability sector and over 5 years’ experience recruitment. Alice is also a person with learning disabilities, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia and currently works as the coordinator for the Inclusive Volunteering Pathways to Employment Program who is passionate about volunteering and accessible workplaces. She has a Bachelors in Arts Organisational Learning and Diplomas in Community Service and Business Management and is passionate about the community services area while ensuring good governance.
Alice is a keen sailor who started dinghy sailing as a teenager, however she only made it onto big keel boats through Making Waves Foundation. Alice joined the Making Waves Foundation in 2018 after seeing a social media post asking for sailors with Dyslexia to join the racing crew.
