A fresh Start in 2022


MWF is buzzing with excitement as we prepare for programs to relaunch in 2022! For the first time in our organisation's history our flagship Winds of Joy program will be running permanently from three locations! 

Sydney has had the inspiring program on its waters for 27 years, Melbourne has been enjoying Winds of Joy for 5 years, and now, our very own Newcastle program has launched which will see three ports running sailing programs simultaneously.

In addition to Winds of Joy, Sydney is coming back with our incredible Winds of Change program. The 8-week learn to sail program aims to empower high school students to recognise their true potential and work together as a team. In Term 1 2022, we are delighted to have first time clients Canterbury Boys High School Indigenous students attend.

Wright of Passage will also return with a group of new trainees joining the existing cohort to build their workplace skills as they explore a future in the maritime industry under the guidance of MWF mentors.
